Submission | 2018
|
Submission is a living and dynamic encounter that suggests resignation as a path to change; starting with the body. The work, comprised of two duets - one male and one female, explores gender identity, offering an expansive representation of the behavioral dichotomy that defines what is perceived as masculine or feminine, within the realm of choreography and
performance and beyond.
Submission was commissioned and supported by Théâtre de la Ville – Paris, and additionally supported by La Faïencerie -Théâtre Cinéma – Creil, and by the Suzanne Dellal Center for Dance and Theater – Tel Aviv.
